Oh I also Forgot! That weekend on Saturday night (if you are staying) is Gallery Hop.
The first weekend of every month the city comes alive in the Short North.
All the Galleries have art openings. All the stores are open late.
People just walk around from gallery to store to gallery and so on.

shower weekend

we went back to oklahoma last weekend to attend 2 showers in our honor!!! one was a brunch hosted by my sister and our dear family friend marilyn. it was a lot of fun and we got lots of good stuff. then, that evening we had a couples shower hosted by our good friends regan and elanna and jamie's family friends, the fairs. it was definitely a good time and again, we got lots of great stuff!
right now i only have pictures of the brunch, but hopefully we will get some pics of the other shower to post on here soon.

This Month In Photos

The first is Amanda's first time gambling ever in Detroit. We went to visit some from the same weekend as the Final Four. It was exctitng watching the Michigan State game while in Detroit

This is a photo of Eva and Kirk at our house on a Thursday. We all get togther and watch The Office and 30 Rock. It was our turn to host so we had a white trash theme. Vegan Sloppy Joes, Chips, Rootbeer and a Veggie Platter.

On Easter Sunday Amanda and I went to Brunch at Dui Amici. They have amazing bloody mary's. mmmmmmm.

This last week I had an eventful weekend. Ive really been trying to get out of the house more. Thursday night I saw The Bronx and Trash Talk. The photos didnt turn out since Iphones aint got no flash on em. It was such a rad show. So amazing. The whole place was chaos with peole moving and jumping off of the bars and tables. Then Saturday night these dudes from work had a mini ramp party. The place was packed. I mainly stood by the ramp. I unfortunately am not skating right now due to the wedding. So bummed. But I dont want be all messed up when I walk down the isle in my dress.

The Invitations

the invitations are finally done, and the look amazing!!! (thanks eva!) we already mailed most of them, however, we need to reprint 3 pages of labels, so those 15 or so haven't been mailed yet. the font is kind of crazy, so we are nervous some might not get delivered. we will be checking with you to make sure you've received yours if we haven't heard from you.
