The first is Amanda's first time gambling ever in Detroit. We went to visit some from the same weekend as the Final Four. It was exctitng watching the Michigan State game while in Detroit

This is a photo of Eva and Kirk at our house on a Thursday. We all get togther and watch The Office and 30 Rock. It was our turn to host so we had a white trash theme. Vegan Sloppy Joes, Chips, Rootbeer and a Veggie Platter.

On Easter Sunday Amanda and I went to Brunch at Dui Amici. They have amazing bloody mary's. mmmmmmm.

This last week I had an eventful weekend. Ive really been trying to get out of the house more. Thursday night I saw The Bronx and Trash Talk. The photos didnt turn out since Iphones aint got no flash on em. It was such a rad show. So amazing. The whole place was chaos with peole moving and jumping off of the bars and tables. Then Saturday night these dudes from work had a mini ramp party. The place was packed. I mainly stood by the ramp. I unfortunately am not skating right now due to the wedding. So bummed. But I dont want be all messed up when I walk down the isle in my dress.

Im gonna really try and update this more. seriously

The Invitations

the invitations are finally done, and the look amazing!!! (thanks eva!) we already mailed most of them, however, we need to reprint 3 pages of labels, so those 15 or so haven't been mailed yet. the font is kind of crazy, so we are nervous some might not get delivered. we will be checking with you to make sure you've received yours if we haven't heard from you.

Honeymoon!

We booked our honeymoon! We are going to the Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios Jamaica. It looks absolutely beautiful. It's an all-inclusive resort, but it's pretty small. However, the guests of the Royal Plantation are allowed to use the amenities of all the Sandals resorts. So if we get bored we can just go next door to the Sandals. Here are a few pictures:

Sledding

last weekend we finally went sledding. we've had snow for a couple of weeks i think (it's been too cold to melt) and last sunday we decided to head to the park. we went to target first to buy a sled but they didn't have any so we had to make do with the top of a plastic storage box. we took sophia with us (and her frisbee) and tried to get her to go down with us, but she was too busy burying her frisbee and then digging it out! it was a lot of fun and not too crowded. by the way, it snowed again today, so maybe i'll be able to talk jamie into going again tomorrow!

New Years!

so... for new years we went to tupelo, mississippi to hang out with our good friends cass and maggie. we met them here in columbus (and they actually live a couple houses down from us), but they are from tupelo and we have become close to them and their parents. it was a lot of fun. we were only able to go for a couple of days but it was definitely worth it! maggie's family owns a farm complete with horses and they let us go see them. we even got to feed and brush them!














p.s. jamie (aka mr. oklahoma) is scared of horses!

Christmas in Ohio

this was our first year to stay in ohio for christmas. both jamie and i had to work most of the week, but it wasn't too bad. my mom came up and we were all kind of hoping for a white christmas, but alas, it was just cloudy. we had a nice christmas, and a delicious lunch!

Jason and Erika's Wedding
