plastics

so, i really have nothing to say today. it's been so beautiful outside, that i've been trying to spend as much time out there as possible. nothing exciting has happened. although, today i did go to a plastic surgeon. no, not for new boobs, but to have him look at my face. i just wanted to know if there was anything i should be doing to prevent scarring. anyway, he told me that i should have gotton stitches when it first happened, and that at this point, there isn't much to do. he said i will definitely have a noticeable scar. he also said i have 2 options: 1. to wait and let it heal and see what mother nature does, and then reassess what needs to be done or 2. go ahead and cut out the scratch as well as the swollen skin around it and get a clean incision. he said there are pros and cons to that approach, so he recommended waiting. i was glad! he also took the scab off (which i though you weren't supposed to do), he said that for cosmetic purposes, scabs aren't very helpful. it looks a little grosser, but actually a little less noticeable. so... i'm supposed to keep washing it and applying neosporin and then go back in 2 weeks to make sure it's healing. we'll see. cross your fingers for as little of a scar as possible!

i tried to get a picture of the scratch, but it was really hard!

see? kind of less noticeable, right?

this is another onesie that i made last week (or the week before that???) and just got around to finishing.
